Power season 4 premiere date revealed at Starz

Power season 4 premiere date

If you’ve been eagerly awaiting the Power season 4 premiere date, we come now bearing great news: It’s been officially announced by Starz.

This morning, the network confirmed that the series, starring Omari Hardwick and executive-produced and featuring 50 Cent, will come back on the air on Sunday, June 25. That’s actually a little bit earlier than we anticipated, though we’re certainly not complaining about that. Just in case you’re really impatient and don’t want to wait until primetime in order to watch the premiere, rest assured that Starz will be making the first episode available starting at a minute after midnight on their app or On-Demand.

We understand precisely why the thirst is so strong for more Power given the shocking way that the third season of the show ended — Ghost a.k.a. James St. Patrick was arrested by his own ex in Angela after she thought that he was responsible for killing Greg Knox. Given his history of deception and what he and Tommy did in regards to Lobos, she was very much inclined to feel that way. What nobody seems to realize at the moment still is that it was actually Mike Sandoval who was the inside man, and is playing the investigators and Ghost at the same exact time.

Suffice it to say, there’s a lot to cover here, and we haven’t even discussed what 50 Cent’s Kanan is currently doing to corrupt Ghost’s son, taking him away from his mother Tasha and exposing him to all sorts of crime.

Beyond all of this, there are some other reasons to be intrigued, including one of the last opportunities to see the late, great Charlie Murphy. The former Chappelle’s Show actor and comedian plays a prison guard in multiple episodes of the season; he had reportedly finished his work prior to passing way.

As you likely know at this point if you’re a regular CarterMatt reader, we are going to be covering Power for the entirety of the fourth season. That includes not only reviews, but also previews and a whole lot more in the way of episode scoop. It’s one of TV’s most-underrated shows, and it’s also the highest-rated program that Starz has in terms of live ratings.
