Agents of SHIELD season 4 episode 20 promo: The quest to stop Aida
The episode that is coming up is entitled “Farewell, Cruel World!,” and when you first look at that, the quick assumption to make there is that you’re getting a dose of some good or at least fun news. Ultimately, though, that may not be entirely the case. While it’s looking more and more possible that some of the characters are ready to get out of the framework and back to real life, that may not be what actually happens. Someone may resist the idea of going back, and someone else may cause a little bit of chaos. We do think that the season will end with characters back in their own reality, but you have to get there first … and getting there could be in this instance a pretty serious battle.
Leading the way, at least based on the synopsis below, are our heroes for the moment in Daisy and Simmons. They were, after all, the two who went into this with their consciousness still largely intact.

Given that there are only three more episodes to come this season, we anticipate that just about everything is going to be heating up.

Well, we now know more of what the endgame is going to be in terms of Aida’s endgame, and it does spell some pretty significant trouble given that if she gets her way, we are probably going to end up seeing her become human and therefore capable of killing the Agents. all of a sudden, Daisy and Jemma have the pressure on them in order to stop her from getting precisely what she wants.
Oh, and there’s a Melinda May line in here that will probably make plenty of ‘shippers out there melt with delight.
