Prison Break season 5 episode 5 promo: Lincoln, Sara face challenges

The idea of Michael’s mortality is going to be a key component over the course of Prison Break season 5 episode 5, just as it’s been much of the series. What happened to him at the end of the series proper is going to be such a difficult pill to swallow, and as a result of that, we will see characters question it and try to determine the truth. It’s not an easy proposition, and there are two different components to this. You have to hope that everything that is going on makes sense logically, and you also have to hope that it makes sense in terms of the characters’ emotional around it.

Moving into next week’s “Contingency,” some of this will play out. Take a look below for further insight.

Prison Break season 5 episode 5 synopsis – “Lincoln becomes frustrated as he tries to understand what really happened to Michael. C-Note has a new escape plan, but fears it will not be executed quickly enough, as Cyclops is trailing closely behind. Meanwhile, Sara struggles with the idea that Michael may be alive.”

The Sara story is the one that we’re probably looking forward to the most just from the vantage point of being powerful, but we’d say that in one way or another, all of these are going to be very significant. Given that this is the fifth of a nine-episode season, by the time we make it to the end here we’re going to be past the halfway mark. As a result of that, this is the time where the show is really going to need to start getting things going in the event that it wants to end with something resembling a big flourish. We do still think that there will be an opportunity for more of the show at some point down the road, but there are probably better opportunities to touch on that in time.
