The Originals season 4 spoilers: Danielle Campbell returning
According to a new report coming in right now via E! News, Campbell is going to be coming back in the role that she popularized for the first several seasons of the show. One of the major questions that would be out there as a result of that relates to how she would manifest herself within the story, and it seems as though she will have the necessary information in order to help our characters stop the mysterious force known as The Hollow that is pervading itself through this season.
When she turns up on the upcoming eighth episode of the season entitled “Voodoo in My Blood,” she will share some screen time with Joseph Morgan and Phoebe Tonkin after Klaus and Hayley visit the ancestral world. Her role here should prove to be both haunting and also interesting at the same time.
In the end, one of the things that is very much fun about watching a show like The Originals is that Campbell and other actors (see Leah Pipes earlier this season) do have this ability to come back for more. The show offers up some of these opportunities on the strength of its writing, and also the sheer nature of the world where there are so many different supernatural things that can occur at any given moment. It’s fascinating, and that is a big part of what makes the show so unique and different. Even within the pantheon of supernatural shows that are out there, there is still something rather interesting and different about how this series does tend to go about some of its business. Moving forward, that will be some rather interesting stuff to explore.
For now, let’s just hope that this story does get Klaus and Hayley a little bit closer to solving the mystery of The Hollow for the sake of Hope and everyone else.
