Big Brother Canada 5 spoilers: More on William’s secret Veto

William's secret Veto

On tonight’s Big Brother Canada episode, we got a chance to see William’s secret Veto be found. So what does that actually mean now in terms of the rest of the game?

Well, what we learned tonight officially was that William’s Veto is good for the next two evictions, and that it does operate the same as a normal Veto. Therefore, there is no coup d’tat power here or anything that will severely break the game. We don’t hate this as a twist, given that much of its power is up to the person holding it as opposed to it being something that will help out even a terrible player.

For William, we don’t think there is much he gets out of using it this time unless he’s desperate to save Sindy. The issue is that he’d be putting himself really far out there to make that happen, and if Sindy goes, it may also make Kevin closer to him since he’s lost another number.

Given that William doesn’t know what is going to happen, he’s better off keeping this. Remember that Karen already has an advantage in the next Head of Household Competition that she won. If she wins that and nominates Kevin, all of a sudden he is in a spot to really change up the game. If he doesn’t end up needing it, then he can just go about his business. It’s ultimately best to not be reliant on the twist in the first place to get ahead in the game.

As of right now, it still feels like Sindy is leaving just because she doesn’t have the votes. If she could get Dre to flip over, then maybe William could join her and they would be able to make the move. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like the odds of that happening are high. Sindy’s better TV and we wish she could stay for that and that alone, but that doesn’t seem to be what we’re going to be getting here.
