The Voice spoilers: Lauren Duski, Casi Joy, TSoul, Aaliyah Rose song choices
Remember that there is also going to be a wildcard selection on tonight’s episode, but we don’t want to say anything too big in advance here. After all, isn’t the element of surprise one of the reasons why we’re so excited to watch? Let’s get to the song choices / analysis for the five other members of the team at the moment.
Aaliyah Rose, “Brass in Pocket” – This is one of those songs that we admittedly hadn’t thought about in a while before hearing it again. Now that we have heard said song again, we’re already excited to see it on the show.
Casi Joy, “Parachute” – She’s one of Blake’s favorites, and given that this is a song by Chris Stapleton (one of the golden guys in the country-music world), there is going to be attention around it.
TSoul, “Knock on Wood” – This song is VINTAGE. It’s a great one, but we do wonder if it is one of those performances that is better in front of the live band than how it will come across on TV.
Lauren Duski, “Someone Else’s Star” – The Bryan White song is a country classic, and it may appeal to some of the nostalgic folks out there who love the nineties.
Aliyah Moulden, “Mercy” – This is a good song, but the struggle with it is mostly that this is a singing-show staple that we’ve heard time and time again. It’s going to be harder to make this one sound original.
