Blue Bloods season 7 spoilers: David Ramsey returns for finale
David Ramsey’s been an important recurring part of the Blue Bloods universe for years, though for much of the time, it’s been rather difficult to have him for longer than just an episode or two. The actor is a series regular over on Arrow, doing an incredible job as John Diggle. With that, you have to take a little bit of Mayor Poole whenever you can.
Specifically, we can tell you know that Ramsey will return for the upcoming May 5 finale for the series entitled “The Thin Blue Line.” In this episode, you will see Poole actually confide in Frank that he has some plans to retire, which does make us wonder whether this is the last appearance from Ramsey on the show. Given the close ties between the police and the Mayor’s office, it may make some sense for the producers to want to cast someone who they can use a little more often than someone who is a major part of another show.
As for what else we know to be coming in the episode, you will see Danny intercepting several million dollars that was seemingly heading towards a big drug cartel down in Mexico. While he’s doing a great job upholding the letter of the law, unfortunately at the same exact time these actions are going to lead to said cartel coming after him.
Meanwhile, you’re going to have a chance to see Jamie Reagan go a little rogue in order to stop a serial killer targeting the elderly. It’s an important mission for him, but one that he probably should clue in some of his fellow cops about. As it stands, he’s going to be putting himself at risk of getting in even more trouble.
So what about Eddie? That is a very big question that we’ve got in general at the moment. Specifically, we’re in a place at the moment where we are left to wonder where she’s been as of late, given that we didn’t get to see her much in this past episode of the show either.
There are a few more episodes of Blue Bloods to go until this one airs, including one that is going to air on the ground this Friday.

So far, it doesn’t seem Eddie will be in any of the last three episodes. Ugh! I hope the show surprises me though and she is in at least one of them, if not more. If she’s not, I’m going to be really disappointed because Eddie and Jamko are two of my favorite things about the show. All I have to say is the writers better have some amazing storylines planned for Jamko next season to make up for this current drought of them.

It’s very possible the producers simply wrote these current episodes in order to give Vanessa Ray some time off to do something else.
