Madam Secretary season 3 episode 19 return date: Tea Leoni’s back on…
Following tonight’s installment, which revolves around the rather-unusual challenge of finding a way to convince a Hollywood star to head overseas for a despot’s birthday party, you will get a very different story for Tea Leoni and the rest of the cast in April 23’s “Global Relief.” The title for this episode does really speak for itself, as Elizabeth McCord is going to do everything that she can in order to resolve a crisis in the midst of a Somalian relief effort.
Madam Secretary season 3 episode 19 synopsis – “When warring rebel groups threaten Elizabeth’s Somalian food relief efforts and kidnap an American aide there, she reluctantly considers asking a notorious Russian arms dealer for help. Also, Henry is blindsided when he is taken off the VFF doomsday cult case, and Alison and Stevie await their college acceptances, on MADAM SECRETARY, Sunday, April 23 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Tony Award-winning actor John Cullum guest stars as Senator Beau Carpenter, whom Elizabeth asks to assist with the Somali relief mission.”
This is one of those episodes that looks as though we’re going to be bouncing around to a wide array of different avenues. After all, Henry’s story is going to be somewhat emotional given that he’s been working on the doomsday cult for a while not — we don’t want to say per se that it’s his baby, but it’s something that he believes in and a cause that he should be allowed to continue to fight for. Meanwhile, the Somali relief case is actually more of the story-of-the-week variety. There will be some compelling stuff over the course of the hour, and we’re excited to see what unfolds.
As a matter of fact, even the Alison / Stevie stuff should be rather interesting because of the sole fact that we’re going to get a chance to see the two look towards their future. In one way or another, we could easily see their decisions influence Elizabeth’s life. She’s the same as any other parent in that case whose children are heading off to college.
