Shark Tank preview: SeedSheet, Cropsticks, Under the Weather, Apollo Peak

SeedSheetFriday night’s Shark Tank is finally a new episode, which means that the opportunity is going to be here to finally see some new products! It feels like we’ve been on a little bit of a layoff, but that is now finally starting to come to a close. You’ll get a chance to see SeedSheet, Apollo Peak, Cropsticks, and Under the Weather strut their stuff in this episode in order to try and get a deal; not all of them probably will, but we’ll probably have some fun along the way.

Before we get to some of the sneak peeks that we’ve got for the individual products, let’s start by sharing the official synopsis below:

“A former pet food company salesman from Denver, Colorado, has a unique addition to the beverage industry with a wine for cats; a soccer dad from Cincinnati, Ohio, shares his gut-wrenching story about how he designed a portable shelter that ensures you’re covered wherever  you go; an architect and environmentalist from Middlebury, Vermont, used his skills to design a maintenance-free and fun way to make anyone into a gardening guru; and an entrepreneurism teacher from Los Angeles, California, left academia to pursue her own business idea of a reinvented chopstick. Also, a follow-up with Sean Riley, Jeff Klimkowski & Ryan Meegan from Chicago, Illinois, and Dude Products, their manly, durable wipes that Mark Cuban invested in during season seven.”

SeedSheet – We’ve gotten a little more into gardening as of late, and this seems like another smart innovation in the space to garden with as little hassle as possible. This is actually the second gardening innovation this season after the edn WallGarden that we saw earlier this season. One thing that is rather cool is how they’ve packaged together similar seeds together into one “sheet,” enabling you to easily grow the herbs and vegetables you want.

Cropsticks – It’s certainly not that often that we think of ideas for chopstick innovations, but this company seems to have done that for us! The idea here is that they are made from sustainable bamboo and have a build-in rest, that way you don’t have to worry about them either getting dirty or rolling off of your plate.

Apollo Peak – It’s wine — for your pet. Seriously. They sell non-alcoholic “snack drinks” for dogs and cats that are made using organic beets, chamomile, and other ingredients. It’s easy to be cynical about this working, but this is the sort of novelty that we could see people purchasing at least once.

Under the Weather – These personal “pods” are effectively little tents that you can put yourself in to keep yourself dry, warmer, or safe from the sun’s rays. They can be folded up into a backpack, and you can take them on the go with you.
