Arrow return date: Future for Stephen Amell, cast in season 5 episode 19

If you haven’t heard the Arrow return date just yet, we come bearing news for you today: It’s not going to be on this week, or the week after. As a matter of fact, you’re going to be waiting until you get around to Wednesday, April 26 to see some more new episodes coming on the air.

So while you do wait that rather-long time for new episodes to come on the air, there are still a number of different things to both keep in mind and look forward to seeing, starting with the simple fact that you’re going to get an opportunity shortly after Arrow season 5 episode 20 to see some big Oliver / Felicity stories come on the air. If you haven’t heard yet, this episode (entitled “Underneath”) is going to be one of the best installments for the duo in the history of the show. You’re going to get a chance to see them together for almost the entire hour, potentially working through issues when it comes to their broken past.

Even if you’re not a big-time fan of Oliver and Felicity, you do have to think that there will be some other problems soon airing, as well.

Prometheus – He’s not going away, either. While he may not have anticipated being put into witness protection, he likely knew that the day would come when his name got out there. He’s got to forge a new strategy now, and we’re sure that he will.

Vigilante – Hey, we know he’s still out there. It’s not known if he is returning either this season or at some other point down the road, but this is something to keep on your radar.

An epic showdown – We don’t want to say too much about the final episodes, but rumor has it at the moment that the show is planning to do something extremely different than anything that they have to date in terms of their setting and their endgame.

End of the flashbacks – Hey, it was bound to happen at some point, and it absolutely makes sense that now would be the time that we start to move forward. It’ll be interesting to see if the show opts to pick up another storytelling device now or if they resort to something else.

Oh, and if you missed it, Stephen Amell’s edition of American Ninja Warrior is airing on May 25. Be sure to mark that in your calendars along with the Arrow return date mentioned earlier.
