The Bachelorette spoilers: Rachel Lindsay goes international
Specifically, what we’re writing about is Rachel Lindsay’s latest photo from the competition, which is coming via executive producer Mike Fleiss on Twitter now. Where is she? Judging from the fact that you can see some snow on the ground in April, it’s fair to say that she is somewhere in the northern part of the world. Also, this doesn’t look like America. We don’t want to say too much given that ABC hasn’t officially announced it yet, but we could be seeing Rachel’s first international destination of the season.
It is somewhat interesting that both this past season of The Bachelor and then also The Bachelorette are both focusing their story in on places with wintry climates, given the fact this is a franchise typically loves to put the focus more on the tropical locations. Anything to get the stars to strip down, right? That tends to be the motto. We like the switch just because there’s so much of the swimsuit action on Bachelor in Paradise, and there is something to be said for being in a different part of the world and exposing viewers to something a little new.
Hey, if nothing else can you start to claim that The Bachelorette has a certain degree of geography education incorporated into it? You do get to know a little bit more about the world than you do from watching people sit around in the mansion.
Rachel’s season will continue filming throughout the remainder of this month, and there won’t be all that much of a layoff between the conclusion of production and then the start of the new season of The Bachelorette in May. At some point in that time, you’ll get a good chance to get to know some of the men competing for Rachel’s heart a little bit better; to date, the only examples that we’ve had are the guys we met during the After the Final Rose, and those introductions were all sorts of jaunty and awkward. (Yet, we do understand the purpose of it, and it gave viewers something to talk a little more about.)
