Dancing with the Stars 24 results: Fear for Charo, Erika Jayne elimination
The consensus pick to leave the Dancing with the Stars ballroom tonight is Charo, and we don’t think that there is all that much debate on the subject of why. This is someone who’s done a pretty terrible job of endearing herself to the voting public. Her scores aren’t great, but if she went into it humble and excited to learn like Mr. T, she’d be great. Unfortunately, she’s showing herself to be a little bit more hesitant to accept scores that are handed her way. She’s proving herself to be belligerent, adversarial, and not all that fun. Her conflict with Bruno Tonioli is either unintentionally entertaining or uncomfortable — we can’t decide which.
After Charo stayed over someone a little more inspiring in Chris Kattan, we do think that the sentiment will push her out the door. At this point, it’s hard to be upset over it.
As for who could be in danger, be concerned for Erika Jayne just because she’s not a huge name within the Dancing with the Stars core demo, and Real Housewives stars do have a tendency to struggle to pull in votes.
As for Mr. T and Kym Herjavec, what’s helping him is a combination of a positive outlook and overall name recognition. Even though he’s a pretty bad dancer, he’s also still Mr. T. He needs to come out and try to show a different side this week. Maybe it won’t work, but we’d like for it to since he seems like such a kind generous guy. (For the record, we do think that David Ross needs to do better than he did this past week, but we’d be really shocked if he ends up getting elimination from the competition after going last on the show.)
