Billions season 2 episode 7 spoilers: Chuck Rhoades’ political future
In the sneak peek HERE, you get some further insight into why Chuck would be a great candidate, and a good bit of it seems to stem first and foremost from his career. He’s spent his entire life being a public servant in one form or another, so of course as a result of that we are going to get an opportunity to see if there is a higher position for him to think. You also have to think that Chuck would be effective in the political realm — he’s incredibly smart, he gets things done, and he doesn’t hold anything back. We’d argue that all of these are close to the top of the list in terms of things that you want to see from your elected officials at the end of the day.
Unfortunately, here is the one bit of bad news that we can offer up on this subject, or it’s at least the bad news as Chuck’s father sees it: His personal life is all messed up. If he wants to make it happen, he tells him that he’s going to need to work things out with Wendy. Doing that, we figure, is going to be so much more easier said than done. These two have been through hell already! Also, Chuck’s already shown her that he cannot be on the same page as her, and that’s enough of an issue to likely cause a little bit of tension between the two in their relationship.
Just in case you’re interested in getting a little bit more news as to what to expect beyond this, we suggest taking a quick look at the synopsis below:
“Axe assembles a war room after a setback. Chuck capitalizes on a victory.”
Sure, this doesn’t give away much, but stemming from recent events, don’t you feel more confident than ever before that Axe belongs in the nearest jail cell?
