Poldark season 3 spoilers: A trio of the latest castings!

Poldark season 3 spoilers

While Poldark season 3 may not be premiering still for some time, the fine folks over at the show’s production house Mammoth Screen were kind enough to share some official casting news for the episodes ahead. Mind you that these are names that are probably very familiar to those of you who are book readers — we intentionally choose to not look at the source material in advance, largely because we want to view the series in an unbiased fashion.

What we can do for you within this article is offer you up some of these names in terms of their past work.

Esme Coy – She will be playing on the series the role of Rowella Chynoweth. It appears as though Coy is a relative newcomer, having done previously an episode of Goodnight Sweetheart.

The official Twitter account supplied the photo below (we’ll be giving you these throughout the article).

John Hopkins – Meanwhile, the Midsomer Murders and Dancing on the Edge actor is being brought on to play the part of Sir Francis Basset. We are certainly curious to see how much of him we get a chance to see on the upcoming batch of episodes.

Will Merrick – Finally, the Skins and Brief Encounters actor (who clearly has a rather distinctive look thanks to the red hair) is set to play Arthur Solway on the third season.

These three will likely all interact with our main cast of characters at some point or another on the upcoming season; at the latest, we expect it to premiere this fall. Maybe it starts earlier than that in the UK, but we’re not in the business of getting anyone’s hopes up. What’s most important is that you can expect a show that is once again beautiful, passionate, and adventurous. There’s a reason that there are few shows out there quite like it.
