Homeland season 6 episode 10 sneak peek: Saul on the run
When you think about what’s happening to him and where he was previously in the series, it’s interesting when you realize how easily he could’ve avoided this situation — had he had the capacity to actually walk away from this world. Maybe this is something that he just doesn’t have the capacity to do, but the option was there for him in the event that he wanted to jump on it. That’s just not his style. He has to be in the midst of the action, and he wasn’t able to steer clear of the intelligence community.
That’s the thing about some of the characters within this world — they’ve got an addictive personality, and that addiction is bringing people to justice at the expense of their own safety. Saul’s possibly the worst addict of all — at least with Carrie Mathison, we do get more situations where we genuinely believe that she wants to walk away from it all.
Is Saul going to be on the run forever? It’s hard to imagine that, but it would hardly shock us if season 7 were to start off with him on the other side of the planet, trying to figure out how to get his way back towards some stability.
Aside from the Homeland season 6 episode 10 sneak peek below, we can also tell you that Carrie is going to be incredibly transfixed on doing everything that she can in order to get Franny back — so much so that she may not be all that inclined to listen to anything that Max is saying about a propaganda machine that is taking place here in America. This is a show that loves to be timely and political, and there is certainly no better example of that than the way that certain media publications can slant stories all across the spectrum. We’ve become so divided as a culture that you can look at a story in one publication and perceive it in such a way that it’s entirely different from a story with the same facts elsewhere.
