Reign season 4 episode 7 spoilers: Will Elizabeth stop Mary’s marriage?

Reign season 4 episode 7 will be coming on The CW next week, and while we’d love to celebrate some of the romance in the air, we instead worry that we’re going to be fearful over the possible destruction of a marriage. Elizabeth is going to be doing what she can in order to bring some destruction to the life that Darnley and Mary have, and the results of that could prove to be rather interesting. When she realizes that some of them do not work, she may choose a different course of action altogether.

Of course, in this particular world, nobody seems to be happy for all that long!

Reign season 4 episode 7 synopsis – “When Darnley (Will Kemp) gets a surprise visitor, his marriage to Mary (Adelaide Kane) hangs in the balance. Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten) learns her attempt to stop Mary backfired. Meanwhile, Catherine (Megan Follows) and Narcisse (Craig Parker) find King Charles (Spencer MacPherson) and must convince him to return to the castle.”

Given where we are in the season at present, it’s fair to say that there is so much more going on in “Hanging Swords” beyond what is being said here — we’re getting to around the halfway point, and that’s when things are going to have to accelerate. Maybe this is something that wouldn’t be as much of a priority in any other season of the show, but you have to remember that this is the final season. As a result of that, there are going to be some story elements that are bigger and bolder than any that you’ve had a chance to see before. They have to be if you want to succeed in your goal of getting people to discuss all matters pertaining to the show.

Promo – As you can see here, Elizabeth seems ready to invade. She’ll see Mary’s actions as an act of aggression, and as a result of that, we’re about to see everything escalate further than it has to date. We know where this story goes, so it’s really only a matter of time before we arrive there.
