Hap and Leonard season 2 episode 3 preview: Ready for a clue hunt?

After it appeared at times like the title characters on Hap and Leonard were closer to the truth tonight, something came up and kept it right out of reach. So will Hap and Leonard season 2 episode 3 start to turn things around? You have to hope so! This episode is entitled “Holy Mojo,” which has to make you wonder whether or not we’re going to see the guys head back to the church where Hap and Florida spent a little bit of time tonight. There are clues probably all around the town, but pinpointing them could prove a challenge … especially when people who talk end up dead.

Hap and Leonard season 2 episode 3 synopsis – “Grisly new evidence leads Hap and Leonard on a wild goose chase across town. The guys’ passions flare, threatening to derail the investigation.”

The obvious good news for Hap and Leonard is that for the time being, Leonard’s on the outside. Judge Otis was convinced (or blackmailed, take your pick) into letting him go, but there is a ticking time-clock on that since sooner or later, he’ll have to face his fate. Without more evidence, he’s in trouble and he knows it.

Here’s what the two guys have going for them: Florida. She’s proven to be a whip-smart attorney, and someone capable of getting almost anything done. Hap’s also going to prove himself to be surprisingly resourceful. He’s not afraid to get his hands dirty, and disobeying the letter of the law in the event that it ends up benefiting him. If he wasn’t afraid to do it with a judge, he’ll probably be more than fine to do when it comes to anyone else in the town.

There are four episodes still to come this season, and we have to expect the momentum to continue to build and build. we don’t expect things to get as crazy-violent this season as the one we got during season 1. As a matter of fact, we don’t even want that. Part of the joy with TV is when you are able to surprise people, and do something that you don’t end up seeing on a regular basis. Hap and Leonard delivers with that.
