The Bachelorette season 13: Premiere date hopes, filming for Rachel Lindsay’s journey

The Bachelorette season 13 -

Tonight, The Bachelor is going to be ending its season with both the finale and the After the Final Rose special; as a result of that, the timing only feels right to start diving now into what could be coming up next! Specifically, we’re talking about The Bachelorette season 13 starring Rachel Lindsay, which is going to be filming most likely in a mere matter of days!

Here’s how the finales for the show typically work when it comes to their Bachelorettes. They often will make a brief appearance during the After the Final Rose to preview their next journey on the show, and they will talk about what they are looking for. Then, a mere matter of days later, their season begins. They are basically closing the door on one journey and then opening another a mere matter of days later. Rachel’s season is likely done casting now, and she just has to wait and see what guys end up coming out of the limousines.

So when could The Bachelorette season 13 start airing on ABC? There is no confirmed premiere date as of yet, but we tend to see the show start things up the Monday before Memorial Day, often paired with the final performance-show episode of Dancing with the Stars to help to get it off to as great of a ratings start as humanly possible. For the time being, we’re circling Monday, May 22 on our calendar as a possible date. Filming for the show will probably conclude very shortly before then; what makes this series different from The Bachelor is that there’s not nearly as much of a cool-off period between the end of production and the start of the show. While Nick Viall made his decision at the end of this season about five months ago, Rachel will probably have to hold onto her secret for a little more than two months.

Let’s just hope now that the casting directors find some good people so that Rachel isn’t left with a bunch of duds, or a group that was clearly all cast before ABC decided that they were going with her as the lead. You never know with the producers what they’re going to decide to do before the show premieres.
