Grey’s Anatomy season 13 spoilers: Maggie’s mother returns; Owen – Amelia scoop
Earlier this season on Grey’s Anatomy season 13, Maggie’s mother turned up and almost immediately, there was tension between her and her daughter. An attempt by Diane Pierce to undergo plastic surgery turned into a cancer diagnosis, and while she wanted to tell her daughter over dinner, a fiery outburst from her daughter rendered that impossible.
So where do the two parties stand now? It doesn’t seem like they’re all that much better, and that’s unfortunate. Based on the information that’s been released so far from ABC, the Diane character will return for the upcoming March 23 episode “Till I Hear It From You.” That sounds in a way like it could be a reference to what she is going through, and the fact that she does still need to find a way to confess the truth to her daughter. It may be terrible that the two parties are fighting, but the idea of Maggie never knowing and her mother going through this battle alone is heartbreaking a million times over.
As for what else is coming in this episode, get ready for some more Owen – Amelia scoop! By the time this episode rolls around Amelia will be back at the hospital, but that doesn’t mean that her relationship with her husband is smooth sailing. They’ve had a wide variety of problems to date, and you’ll get a chance to see some of them play out as this episode inches ever closer to coming on the air.

We know that some people want to know what song the title is a reference to, given that just about every Grey’s Anatomy episode is named in such a way. “Till I Hear It From You” is a track from Gin Blossoms, and if you haven’t heard that song before, you can do so below! For the record, though, we don’t think that every title is meant to literally translate to the episode. Sometimes, the connections are a little bit more thematic, but nonetheless interesting.
