Prepare for Supercorp drama in season 2, episode 15 ‘Exodus’
Mrs. Carter: For all of you Supercorp fans out there wondering when Lena Luthor would be surfacing on Supergirl this season, we come bearing an answer!
The image above is one of the first ones that we’ve got for Monday night’s new episode “Exodus,” and it features Supergirl making a rather concerned facial expression at her alter ego’s new-found friend. Note that we’re saying Supergirl rather than Kara for a reason, mostly in that we want to ensure that we differentiate the two as they may be in Lena’s mind.
That in itself is an interesting question: Does Lena know that Kara is Supergirl, and just isn’t saying anything? If you think back to the chess-piece scene at the end of “Luthors,” the show obviously wants you to think that Katie McGrath’s character is up to something. Could it just be her putting the metaphorical pieces together in her head? It seems far too obvious for the show to go with the whole “Lena is secretly evil” twist, so let’s hope that it’s not that. (It’s also possible the show was just trolling us.)
Regardless of what Lena thinks, Supergirl likely does have to treat her differently than Kara would. Hence, the different facial expression, but there should be some fun that comes with that. Part of the reason for the whole Supercorp ‘ship’s existence is the chemistry that Kara and Lena have in their scenes together, so mixing it up with Supergirl and Lena in the room together should give another interesting dynamic. It remains to be seen whether or not this episode will ignite as much of an interest in the pairing as “Luthors” did, especially with that final scene that made it seem, albeit briefly, that Lena was about to go in for a kiss.
If you missed it early today, Supergirl does seem to be interested in fleshing out more of Lena’s romantic life, as they are casting an iZombie actor to play a former flame … one who could become a villain in his own right. Consider this further evidence that Lena, other than Kara, doesn’t have a lot of people around her with good intentions.

Love their dynamics be it as Kara or as Supergirl. I hope Lena doesn’t turn evil, that’d be a shame and overly simplistic. I’d be down for grey!Lena with ultimately good intentions/wanting to protect Supergirl.
I’m of the mind that Lena absolutely knows who Supergirl is and is pretending she doesn’t.

It would be so much better if she doesn’t though, her reaction would be hilarious.

No Lena should turn bad. She is a Luthor why even have Lena Luthor on the show for girl talk that would be unbelievably stupid.

… you know the world’s not all black or white, right? There is a widely grey area in between. Also, reducing two female characters to “girl talk,” really? So when Mon-El and Winn interact, it’s just “boy talk” and therefore shouldn’t happen? I mean.
Lena Luthor is not evil in the comics. At worst she’s a misguided character whose morality is grey.

I think she will turn evil. The whole Chess scene of her being a Master manipulator like Lex. Plus the actress is mostly known for playing evil as well. I can not see them bringing in a Luthor just to be friends with Supergirl

The chess piece being the white knight, it could very well be a reference to Lena’s counterpart on Smallville, Tess, who was part of an organization called “Checkmate” and which was neither good nor bad.

She will turn evil. I love the introduction of Mon-El watching him grow into the famous Mon-El character from the comics is gonna be a treat. Especially when he get his suit. A Luthor as BFF is not gonna make sense. If you got a Luthor you use that name for what its meant to be an enemy to Superman and Supergirl. Are you a fan of the show or only watch for scenes you like ?
