Criminal Minds season 12, episode 15 video: Things go from bad to worse for Reid

Criminal Minds -

On the Criminal Minds ‘Alpha Male’ episode airing Wednesday night, Reid’s going to experience life behind bars in the worst way possible.

Specifically, the sneak peek below makes it clear that he’s not going to have much help from some of the authorities behind bars, who are very much inclined to treat him more like a regular prisoner and less like a member of the BAU. They don’t care in the slightest what his job is, or how many people that he’s put behind bars. They care more about the fact that he’s being accused of murder himself. That’s why nobody seems all that worried about him being put with the rest of the general population.

As you can imagine, this is not a good place for Matthew Gray Gubler’s character to be. there may be people in this prison he’s put away, and even if there are not, they’ll at least find out that he’s a fad and use that to torment him.

Is there an ally that he could run into? Maybe, as this episode will give you a good dose of Harold Perrineau as Calvin Shaw. Unfortunately, even with him it’s a little too early to tell if he is friend or foe. All we can say is that the two will share some conversations together.

Don’t expect a resolution to come by the end of “Alpha Male.” This story will span several episodes this season, and eventually, you will see the return of Jane Lynch. How Diana factors into the story of Reid’s imprisonment remains to be seen.
