24: Legacy episode 6 preview: The walls close in on Carter, Amira
The first five episodes of 24: Legacy were very much about a journey for many characters from zero to sixty. Eric Carter surely didn’t imagine that he would be in this deep with CTU in their battle against those connected to Khalid. Meanwhile, it’s also fair to say that nobody expected Amira to be in a position where she would be killing and allowing things to be so crazy so soon. (We still contend that the Amira part of the story has some merit, even if inexplicably so. It’s almost entertaining in spite of itself.)
So where are we going for sure moving into next week’s episode? The synopsis below offers up a little more information on what is now technically the halfway point of the season.
Synopsis – “Using a lead, Carter and CTU narrow in on an enemy’s location. Meanwhile, Amira (guest star Kathryn Prescott) comes to a crossroads as her plan nears completion.”
This is certainly a shorter description insofar as ones for 24 go, but we do figure that there is a specific method to the madness here. What we are ultimately expecting to see in this episode is a few big turns that bring more of the stories together, and help us to get a sense of where this season is really going. If we had to say that there was one big weakness with this season beyond the occasional silliness and leaps in logic, it is trying to figure out where all of the dots connect.
