Oscars 2017 red carpet live stream: Where and when to watch
Tonight, the Academy Awards are going to be upon us! There will be many winners, notable speeches, and all sorts of amazing drama galore. Of course, there’s also an Oscars 2017 red carpet live stream that some out there may want to watch.
Here’s the bad news: It’s a little more difficult to find that in past years. It’s possible that Twitter may offer up something here and there, but there’s no guaranteed coverage. For those of you who love analysis and more, you can watch E! or stream it starting at around 5:30 p.m. Eastern time, depending on some of your technology. They’ll be providing all sorts of coverage, at least for the first two hours or so of the show.
Changes to coverage this year, though, give ABC more exclusive access starting at around 7:30 p.m. Eastern. If you want to learn some more about that, just be sure to visit the link here. You can stream provided that you have a valid cable subscription. Beyond that, it may be a little more challenging. They will be bringing their red-carpet pre-show to the air, so you’ll have a chance to watch via those means, as well.
In general, our anticipation is that this is going to be an eventful version of the Oscars for a wide array of reasons, starting with the fact that you’ve got someone in Jimmy Kimmel hosting who’s got no fear whatsoever of holding back. He’s going to speak his mind, and you’re going to be bold. You better prepare for that. There will also probably be a heavy amount of politics discussed on the night. There may be an aversion of it for some people who are wanting to depoliticize the event to a certain extent, but at the same time, we do think that there is also going to see this platform as a way to get the world as they see it out for all of the world to see.
While we may not be a movie site, we’re still going to have coverage of many things pertaining to the Oscars later tonight!
