The Vampire Diaries season 8, episode 15: Should Stefan – Caroline June Wedding happen?
Is romance in the air on The Vampire Diaries season 8, episode 15? You better hope so, given that we’re gearing up now for the penultimate episode of the show next week. Those hoping for a Stefan – Caroline June Wedding have something to look forward to potentially, but there’s also that slim chance that it’s all some terrible ruse so that the brothers Salvatore can get what they want and find a way to finally get a little bit of peace in their lives.
Do we actually think that they’re going to get that? How about no, mostly because of the fact that THIS IS NOT THE SERIES FINALE. There’s probably going to be a huge cliffhanger that carries into the episode that follows.
Now, let’s go ahead and offer up some further insight into what’s coming up, just in case you have not seen it already.
Synopsis – “A wedding is quickly planned in order for Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) to lure a dangerous enemy out into the open. This looming threat puts the fate of Mystic Falls in eminent danger and must be destroyed.”
If the desired endgame of the show at this point is Stefan and Caroline being together, we have to think that the June Wedding is a necessity for the series … or at least some sort of wedding. You could schedule it around at a different time if you needed to, but not throwing that out there after all of this hype would be the equivalent of promising Christmas presents and then taking them away while laughing. Basically, one of those videos that airs on Jimmy Kimmel where someone’s tormenting one of the poor kids.
Promo – Here you go: This preview DEFINITELY suggests that there is going to be a wedding, and the ceremony you’ve been looking forward to seeing! However, this is The Vampire Diaries, and obviously you know that nothing is precisely as it seems. There could be some surprises in store.
