‘NCIS: New Orleans’ season 3, episode 15 preview: Be prepared for a big CCH Pounder episode

New Orleans -

For those of you out there who both love “NCIS: New Orleans” and the performance of CCH Pounder as Loretta Wade, let’s just say that there is going to be a good bit to be excited about even beyond the new episode that is airing on CBS tonight. After all, you are going to get a chance to see a story that puts the character front and center, and get a chance to learn more about her past. This is something that you don’t get more than just a handful of times a season, so let’s enjoy it while we can!

Unfortunately, we’re not going to be seeing many happy memories for Wade in this episode; instead, they could be heart-wrenching, and there’s a painful reason why they are coming up in the first place. The one positive thing that you’re going to get from this is a powerful performance from Pounder; overall, it should be a story that is very much different from the one that you will be seeing during tonight’s crossover event.

Synopsis – “A gruesome copycat murder on a street car reopens a former case for Wade, evoking painful memories from her past.”

One other scheduling note that we will offer in this episode is that this is the last one that you’re going to get for the month of February. There aren’t too many more details that are known about the March lineup for the show yet, but our hope is that we’re going to get an opportunity to see some more character-focused episodes. These installments to us are what makes “NCIS: New Orleans,” like every other edition of the franchise, stand out from the rest of the crime TV mold.
