’24: Legacy’ episode 4 preview: A team-up; Rebecca’s interrogation

So far, “24: Legacy” is a show that has delivered a great deal on the premise of being intense, action-packed, and certainly dramatic to boot. Unfortunately, at the same time it does still have work to do with making things a little bit unpredictable, given that we’ve had some exercises in conveniences and bad guys that aren’t exactly all that different from past seasons.

At least moving into next week, we do think that we’re going to be getting into some of the meat of the action based on what we’ve got for you below.

Synopsis – “Grimes comes to Carter with information that might lead them to the terrorists. Meanwhile, at the Donovan compound, Nilaa is sequestered and questioned by Rebecca.”

For Grimes and Carter, teaming up is something that they really should have done a long time ago, but for whatever reason have shied away from it. We know that Grimes was for a while looking for a way to take care of himself better financially — which is understandable given what he’s been through, but it hasn’t quite worked out for him. Meanwhile, we do really hope that Nilaa is so much more than what some other characters are expecting her to be, just because we don’t want this show to constantly go for the most predictable option when there are so many different more interesting routes that they could go in.

One other thing that we hope to know by next week is just how popular this show is once the hype of the Super Bowl is quiet. The ratings were still solid last Monday, but it may have had a little bit of that hangover effect still going on.
