Ratings: ‘NCIS,’ ‘This Is Us,’ ‘Chicago Fire’ fall; ‘Agents of SHIELD’ improves

NCIS -The Super Bowl hangover continues for some of your favorite shows. For whatever reason, we’re seeing some big drops for many of your favorites; unless you are a superhero show or “The Real O’Neals” over on ABC, odds are there isn’t much in the way of good news to report for you at the moment.

CBS – This wasn’t the best night ever for The Eye. “NCIS” (1.7), “Bull” (1.3), and “NCIS: New Orleans” (1.0) drew some of their weakest numbers of the show. For the most part, the numbers for the latter shows is almost the equivalent of the network’s performance on Friday nights. With the current landscape being what it is, though, this may still be enough for these shows to be renewed. Nothing major to worry about.

NBC – “The Wall” slipped to a 1.4, but that’s still crazy-good given what sort of show this is. Meanwhile, “This Is Us” (2.5) and “Chicago Fire”(1.5) both dropped from their recent performances.

ABC – On the comedy front, “The Middle” and “American Housewife” each drew a solid 1.5 rating; the latter is looking more and more like a sure thing to return. Meanwhile, “Fresh Off the Boat” fell, “The Real O’Neals” (0.9) improved, and “Agents of SHIELD” (0.7) ended up ticking up.

Fox – “New Girl” (0.9) was fairly steady, but unfortunately “The Mick” (0.9) fell. “Bones” dropped to a 0.7 rating, but it’s the final season so it’s hard to see anyone necessarily caring all that much about it.

The CW – Both “The Flash” (1.1) and “Legends of Tomorrow” (0.7) each managed to hold onto their entire live audience, which is nice given the state of the landscape everywhere else. Both shows are officially coming back for another season, so there isn’t a whole lot to worry about here.

Tonight, we’re going to see a flurry of other new episodes, including the first new installments in a couple of weeks for “Chicago PD,” “Law & Order: SVU,” and “Blindspot.” We’ll be back to cover all of these shows soon enough.

For now, just let us know in the comments what shows you had a chance to check out last night! We’ll be back with some other news in the near future. (Photo: CBS.)
