’24: Legacy’ episode 3 preview: Eric Carter learns to trust the CTU

24 -

Tonight, “24: Legacy” brought to the table a story that really accelerated the story of one Eric Carter in many different ways. Isaac and Eric Carter had a personal conversation, Rebecca tried to develop an understanding with Keith at the CTU, and we also of course had a few moments where we rolled our eyes … because it’s “24.” This may somehow be the most and least realistic show on television at the same time, and we think that this is certainly saying something.

So where are we going to see this show go next? Well, we’ve got a few more details on that very subject right now.

Synopsis – “After Carter escapes from the police precinct, he must put his trust in the CTU as he plans a meet up with Grimes to do the exchange. Meanwhile, Rebecca and Donovan try to isolate the leak and Amira and Harris deal with a slight hiccup in their plan.”

Hey, does this mean that we’re getting a “24” – “Prison Break” crossover coming up at some point in the near future? Okay, probably not, but you have to admit that it’d be fun. (It’s still shocking enough that we’re discussing these two shows in 2017.) Also, let’s hope that everything between Grimes and Carter actually works out and we’re not going to spend another hour on some sort of wild-goose chase in order to ensure that Ben gets his money.

Do we really have to discuss the story with Amira and Harris? Maybe this is a story with some potential still, but at the same time we’ve still got some concerns given that we’re talking about a story set in high school featuring people who are conveniently working with each other.

Promo – The walls are going to be closing in on Eric as he finds himself trapped — meanwhile, the reveal of the possible mole from within Donovan’s campaign could cause things to spiral.
