‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7 spoilers: Darius Rucker to guest star

Hawaii -Surprising guest stars are one of the things that “Hawaii Five-0” does best, especially from the music world! This is the show that’s brought you appearances from Jimmy Buffett, and they are now getting set to also bring you now a guest spot from none other than singer Darius Rucker.

What’s also fun about his appearance is that he’s going to be a character who is certainly rather different than himself! Rucker’s been cast as a bomb maker by the name of Desmond Abati, and his appearance during the Friday, February 24 episode will come as McGarrett and Danny go on a frantic search to find some missing uranium. (As you may recall, this ties back to a story from earlier this season.) Some of this uranium has been used to make a bomb in the middle of a jungle … as for why Desmond wanted to build such a bomb, we presume that this is one of the things that you’re left to ponder over at the moment.

In addition to Rucker’s casting for the episode, there’s also another interesting musical connection! Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith guest-composed many different cues for the episode, which should give it a little bit more of added flair. Who knows? Maybe he came up with some powerful stuff to match what sounds like it’s going to be a pretty intense episode. We don’t know how else to describe one that is going to revolve around a bomb potentially going off.

The next month or so in general is going to be a great one in terms of “Hawaii Five-0” guest appearances. Just look at the wide array of people who are going to be stopping by! Friday night’s new episode will bring back Sarah Carter as Lynn, and following that the upcoming February 17 episode is going to give you new appearances from Claire Forlani (Alicia Brown) as well as Elisabeth Rohm (Dr. Madison Gray). There’s a lot to look forward to if you’re a Five-0 fan!
