‘Emerald City’ episode 7 preview: The truth about Lucas

Emerald city -

Maybe it is because there were two episodes of “Emerald City” that aired the week of its premiere, but to us it’s still somewhat surprising to realize that we’re more than halfway into the series at this point! The show’s been slowly unraveling more and more of the story, and moving into next week, it does appear as though one key question is finally going to be answered: Why is Lucas really? What is want? While at times it’s appeared that he and Dorothy have been in lockstep, at the same time, there are some events coming next week that could change that.

This ultimately brings us to “They Came First,” which is the next installment of the series airing in one week’s time. Below, you can get a pretty good idea now as to what is going to be coming up next.

Synopsis – “The Wizard (Vincent D’Onofrio) launches an assault on a village as his power is threatened and he enlists West (Ana Ularu) to help. Dorothy (Adria Arjona) and Lucas (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) fight to keep Silvie (guest star Rebeka Rea) safe as they journey north to seek Glinda’s (Joely Richardson) assistance. After suffering a great loss, Langwidere (guest star Stefanie Martini) grapples with her new authority as her relationship with Jack (Gerran Howell) continues to become complicated.”

We have a feeling that there are already PLENTY of fans out there who are upset at Lucas over what they see in the promo below, and it’s still to clear to know for sure precisely what’s going to be coming up in terms of his personal life. More than anything, we just hope that whatever happens next continues to show all of the different wrinkles and dimensions to this and every other relationship on the show.

Oh, and we hope the ratings start to turn in a more positive direction.
