‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7, episode 16 preview: Sarah Carter returns for Valentine’s Day episode

Five-0 -Is love in the air on the next new episode of “Hawaii Five-0“? Most signs seem to be pointing that way, and for good reason — after all, we’ve got the Valentine’s Day episode of the show coming up next week! “Poniu I Ke Aloha” (“Crazy in Love”) is the title for the episode, and you’re going to see both Sarah Carter and Lili Simmons return as Lynn and Melissa. Steve and Danny are going to get a chance to go on a bit of a couples’ retreat with the women that they love (see the photo above), and while we’re sure there will be some romance, at the same time there’s probably also some chaos. Remember what this show is about!

If nothing else, at least we’ve got a scene coming our way of Steve and Danny with cucumbers on their eyes. This in itself is enough of a reason to get excited about what is coming up around the bend.

Synopsis – “While McGarrett and Danno celebrate Valentine’s Day with their girlfriends, the rest of Five-0 investigates the murder of a man taking a class on how to land women.”

This case should be interesting, mostly because on paper, who’s going to want to murder a guy taking this sort of class? The obvious assumption you would make is that this is someone who’s lonely and looking for some companionship in life, and probably doesn’t have the best social skills in the world. As for the teacher of such a class, we could see that being a little more of a likely scenario just because you can argue that maybe some crazy stalker went after them because they felt like their teachings didn’t give them what they wanted.

While there’s probably going to be some serious moments throughout the episode, we do like that there’s clearly a lighthearted component to part of it. This is a time in which we celebrate romance, and with these characters in particular, they certainly need a break. They’ve been through a lot!
