‘The Blacklist’ season 4 casts ‘The Office’ alum as new Red adversary
While there may not be a new episode of “The Blacklist” on NBC tonight, hopefully we’ve got some news for you that will still keep you excited about what is coming up later this season!
Specifically within this article, we’re talking about what’s going to be coming up for Red as he begins to realize that someone is attempting to attack and shake down his criminal operation … but who is it? Conventional wisdom would have suggested that it was Mr. Kaplan out seeking revenge for being shot, but based on some of the superficial details that we have right now, that may not be the case whatsoever.
On the upcoming February 9 episode of the series entitled “Isabella Stone,” you’re going to get a chance to see Melora Hardin — otherwise known as candle and Michael Scott-loving Jan from “The Office” — appear front and center as Red’s new adversary. There isn’t too much known about her, other than that her name may in fact be Isabella Stone — and she’s a smart, “sophisticated” criminal to boot.
As a longtime Hardin fan, this news is awesome — Jan was one of the more underrated parts of the office, especially when you go back to the second or third season of the show and witness the crazy relationship that she had with Steve Carell’s character.
The NBC press release for this episode also suggests that within the hour you’ll start to see more of what leads to Tom Keen’s new mission. This is the one that will bring him to “The Blacklist: Redemption” a little bit later this season, where he’s going to be at the center of everything. The entire show there is about Tom working with the likes of Scottie Hargrave and Mr. Soloman in order to undo many of his past wrongs; perhaps this is just the beginning of the journey to get him to that point.
