‘Celebrity Big Brother’ spoilers: Ray J, Stacy Francis, Austin Armacost, Heidi & Spencer nominated

Today on “Celebrity Big Brother,” we had the announcement for the remainder of the nominations — and this was a little bit of a bloodletting.

Ultimately, it feels like almost half of the house is up for eviction. We already knew that James Cosmo was going to be in danger, but now he is being joined by several other people: Ray J, Stacy Francis, Austin Armacost, Angie Best, and Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt. Stacy was clearly the most upset about it, and she was also at the top of the list with five people voting for her to up there on the block.

We do think that at the moment, Stacy is probably the favorite to be sent home first. With this show being structured more on who you want to save as opposed to who you want to go home, it strictly is hard to know who is going to vote to keep her around. Ray J has a considerable amount of star power compared to some of the others, and that will probably keep him around for now. Meanwhile, Austin did well enough his first season, and Heidi and Spencer probably have enough people who like them who can help offset some of the people who hate them. The structure of this show benefits them greatly; if it was strictly voting for who you wanted gone, it’d likely be a lot harder for them to stick around.

We do have to say that it would be rather hilarious if we did end up seeing Ray J go home this week, if for no other reason than that he was paid so much to go and take part in this experience in the first place. Someone at Channel 5’s head would probably explode.
