‘Girl Meets World’ season 3, episode 20 video: Could Riley and her family move to London?

With there only being two episodes left of “Girl Meets World,” we imagine that both of these are going to be incredibly emotional for many fans out there — in particular those who want to at the very least see the story end with many of the characters together and happy.

The video below is your first real look at “Girl Meets Sweet Sixteen,” which is going to be the next new episode airing on the Disney Channel Friday night. For those wondering, the 6:00 p.m. Eastern timeslot is going to remain, and the show is going to be fixated on specifically the concept of getting older and moving forward. The time of your life before you are sixteen is a time of your life you’re not going to get back, so you want to take advantage of that to live to the fullest.

While Riley has had a wonderful first 16 years of her life, at least in terms of having both a great family and great friends, she may be looking at a future that is stuffed full of change. Topanga gets a promotion that could put her in charge of the London office, and all of a sudden, the entire Matthews family is looking at a situation in which they could see the next several years of their lives away from their friends.

Here is the question that we do wonder: What does this mean if it happens? We’ve seen flash forwards that focus on Riley and Maya’s future, and we can see that the two are both still friends. Were those meant to be real, or what Riley perceived the future to be? That’s an important distinction, and something that we imagine the show exploring further as we get further and further into its run.
