‘The Blacklist’ returns, Menendez Brothers movie, ‘Big Bang Theory’ Texas trip
OMG! It’s only Thursday and it feels like TV heaven! The feast of new episodes continues as the choices are endless. Not only can fans return to “Nashville” (debuting on CMT for the new season), they can also enjoy a pastry or two watching “The Great American Baking Show.” With so many options, the choices need to include the DVR as there is no way to catch all the shows at once. Unless you have several TVs in the house. If so, be aware I am very jealous!
‘The Blacklist’ returns: Who is the mole?
Raymond Reddington was on vacation, but his return to “The Blacklist” is a strong indication that a few criminals will be rounded up this week. As the team continues to search for the mole, the bigger question is how the team will move forward. Are all the characters safe? Or will the fans be surprised at some potential changes? Watch NBC tonight at 10 p.m. on NBC.
Menendez brothers crime revisited
The 1989 crime in Beverly Hills where two brothers allegedly killed their parents was years ago, but the interest in the store remains. On Thursday night, ABC revisits the situation on “Truth and Lies: The Menendez Brothers — American Sons, American Murderers.” This horrific crime was the talk of the town for decades. Locked up without the chance of parole, the Menendez brothers have been a point of interest as people still don’t quite understand why they turned on their parents. The documentary starts at 9 p.m. on ABC
Jimmy Fallon arrives in LA; readies for Golden Globes gig
The world will be watching the Golden Globes later this week as awards are handed out to the stars. The sparky host, Jimmy Fallon has arrived in town early to prepare for the festivities. Sharing his excitement about the Golden Globes, he chatted about his arrival on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”. Hinting about surprises in store for the viewers, it sounds like the award show will be epic!
“Big Bang Theory”: Sheldon and Amy’s Texas trip
Viewers of “The Big Bang Theory” get to hear all about Sheldon and Amy’s holiday trip to Texas. The new episode has fans wondering how the show will keep the characters moving forward and how the baby will continue in the show. Always a fan favorite, expect to be surprised again tonight. Check out Sheldon’s journey on CBS at 8 p.m.
And finally…. ‘Superstore’ returns
If you haven’t been to a big department store in a while (or even if you have), “Superstore” is returning with a new episode tonight. The charming characters of this show always offer a few good laughs and for the most part, it’s at their own expense. Tune in to “Superstore” at 8 p.m. on NBC.
