‘This Is Us’ episode 11 could be delayed (slightly) by Presidential address
At this point, we are very much acutely aware of the popularity that exists out there surrounding “This Is Us.” The NBC show amassed an enormous amount of fans over the course of the first ten episodes, and when you consider the nature of the cliffhanger that we were left on (someone save Toby!), obviously we want answers sooner rather than later.
Based on what is being reported out there now, it is possible that everyone is going to have to wait a little bit longer — though we’re speaking here in terms of minutes more so than hours or weeks. Today, it was announced that President Obama is going to deliver his final address as President on January 10, one that will reflect on his campaign and discuss some of the challenges that they’ve faced and that they will also face now moving forward towards the future. There’s no guaranteed start time for this address just yet, but signs suggest that it could be air either at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time (the same time as “This Is Us”) or the hour before.
So why tell you now without a confirmed time? The biggest reason is so that you are aware of it, and you can set your DVR’s and prepare accordingly. Given that the fate of one of the show’s major characters in Toby hangs in the balance, this is probably an episode that you don’t want to miss.
Oh, and we should probably also add that the address is an important thing to be aware of if you continue to want to be informed about everything that is happening in our country. This event is just ten days before Donald Trump’s inauguration will take place.
