‘Shades of Blue’ season 2 teaser: Jennifer Lopez, cast returns on March 5

In the midst of all of the New Year’s Eve celebrations last night, NBC subtly gave us a nice little gift: The first teaser promo for the upcoming second season of “Shades of Blue.” A particularly big fan of star Jennifer Lopez (who also performed on the network last night) shared the clip on social media. We won’t exactly say that this preview does a whole lot in terms of spoiling what’s coming up in terms of the story, but it does present you with a reminder of some of the show’s themes, whether they be corruption, despair, conflicts between the letter of the law and the spirit of the law, and of course many questions of trust. It’s a show that elevates the “police officers with moral quandaries” genre to new heights!

This season “Shades of Blue” is going to air on Sunday nights, as the network is looking to establish more of a crime TV lineup following the conclusion of Sunday Night Football and all of the craziness that is going to be coming up during February Awards Season. this show will be paired with “Chicago Justice,” and it’ll be interesting to see how they fare. There’ll be some competition out there, but this is a night where there is typically a pretty large pool of viewers available.

Our suggestion right now is a rather-simple one: If you love “Shades of Blue” and want to remind yourself of what happened during season 1, visit NBC’s site! They’ve got plenty of episodes on there to watch, and with not all of your other favorite shows being back just yet, now could be a rather good time to catch up.
