‘Bones’ season 12 promo takes you to the past — and into the present

Bones -

We do often tend to be hard on networks for a wide array of different reasons, and with that in mind, it feels right to start off this particular article on “Bones” by actually praising Fox for a couple of different things. First things first, kudos to them for keeping the show on the air this long! It’s not something that they necessarily had to do, but they showed a lot of confidence in the writers and the producers in order to ensure that they stayed on the air. It was a risk, but it’s one that paid off … even though they did make it a little bit more challenging on the fans by constantly changing the timeslot from one night to the next.

Also, we’ll praise them for doing a good job of promoting the final season, including the promo below that gives you a very good cross-section of what this entire series is about from start to finish. You see some of the romance, some of the working relationship, and also a reminder of the epic wedding that we had on the show a little while back.

Of course, there is also a little bit of danger that is present here. Think of it as a reminder of everything that Brennan and Booth are going for at the moment. Remember here that Zack Addy currently has her in his possession, and it is still not exactly clear precisely what he wants to do with her. We are of course hopeful that Booth will be able to find her — if there is one person that you want searching for you, odds are that it’s someone like him, who you know to be devoted and diligent.

There are twelve episodes still to go this season, and we imagine that there will be a little bit of everything in some of these stories. You’ll get emotional, you’ll laugh, and of course you’ll be excited about some of the cases.
