Christmas Eve marathons: ‘NCIS,’ ‘Shameless,’ ‘Doctor Who,’ ‘Ridiculousness,’ and more

NCIS -We know that there are many people out there who are going to want to spend Christmas Eve watching holiday movies, but at the same exact time, we also know that there are plenty of people out there who either aren’t into that much holiday cheer, celebrate Hanukkah (Happy Hanukkah!), or simply have seen so many of these various specials and movies and already.

Therefore, we figured we’d spend this article pointing out that there are a few other options out there in terms of marathons of a few assorted shows. We’ll be back tomorrow to talk about some of the ones out there for Christmas Day, as well, given that networks won’t be leaving you out for that, either. (For the record, all times listed are Eastern — adjust accordingly depending on where you are.)

NCIS” – The crime drama is going to be running on USA from 10:00 a.m. (it’s already on) until 11:00 p.m. tonight.

“Doctor Who” – In preparation for the annual Christmas Special tomorrow, BBC America is airing the show from now until 11:30 p.m. tonight — they actually started earlier this morning at 6:00.

Shameless” – Just in case you’re interested in something raunchier this time around, Showtime is going to be running a marathon of the seventh season until 9:00 tonight.

“Ridiculousness” – It seems like MTV chooses to air marathons of this show pretty much every single time there’s a holiday, and this is no exception. Most of the morning marathon is already over, but you can see the show on the air tonight from 4:00 p.m. until midnight.

“Mythbusters” – If you’ve got Science, they will be airing old episodes of one of our favorites from now until 6:00 a.m. in the morning — just in case you want to celebrate the holidays by watching stuff blow up.

“30 for 30” – For those of you who are diehard sports fans, you can watch many powerful documentaries on ESPN2 from now until Christmas morning.

“Family Feud” – Hey, if you love the classic game show, it’s on GSN from now until around 9:00 p.m. when “Minute to Win It” comes on.
