‘Arrow’ season 6: Are there already ideas for next year’s crossover?
We know that pulling off the epic superhero crossover on The CW earlier this year was almost certainly exhausting, and we’re sure that for this little hiatus around the holidays, everyone from the writers to the actors are going to enjoy a little bit of time to rest, enjoy some time with their families, and prepare for what will probably be a very busy year once more.
What may be especially interesting now for many people to know is that even with some of this rest in mind, the wheels are still turning — even for some things far down the roast. Speaking per Blastr, “Arrow” executive producer Wendy Mericle made it clear that there are already a few plans that are being talked about for what the next big crossover could be for the fall of 2017:
“We have some ideas. We actually sort of do, believe it or not, have a concept for what we want to do for next year’s crossover. It’s crazy.”
Of course, just because there is a concept does not necessarily mean that anything is set in stone at all. There is certainly still plenty of time for a few things to change around, and we should add in here that none of the shows have been officially renewed as of yet for another season on the air. We would expect that they all probably will, mostly because they are showing a certain degree of consistency week in and week out. Also, the crossover in particular brought in some of the best numbers we’ve seen The CW get for an entire four-day period in a rather long time.
“Arrow” is going to return with new episodes next month; while you wait for the show to come back on the air, we do recommend that you head over here to get an article sharing our latest analysis of the whole Tommy-is-Prometheus theory floating around out there.
