‘Scream Queens’ season 2 finale spoilers: Who will die in ‘Drain the Swamp’?

The season 2 finale of “Scream Queens” is coming up right around the corner, and judging based on what we know about this episode to date, all indicators suggest that this one could be especially crazy.

Let’s start things off here by sharing what is a particularly interesting title for the hour in “Drain the Swamp,” which you have to assume was created with now President-Elect Donald Trump in mind. This is something that he long claimed that he wanted to do before getting elected — and that’s where our political talk ends. We have to assume that the vast majority of people who are reading this are doing so out of some sort of desire to try to avoid politics if they possibly can, and we don’t really blame them for that.

As for what you can expect to see on the show, the synopsis below offers us a few details — but not too many, given that this is the finale that we’re talking about here:

“The Green Meanie sets its final plan for revenge in motion as Hester makes a bold move to secure her future, and Brock performs a dangerous surgery to save Dean Munsch’s life.”

While we would love to say that this is a show with the potential for a big, bold future beyond this episode, for the time being that seems unlikely. The ratings are down dramatically for this year versus season 1, and that is something that does need to be taken into account here as we look more and more towards the future. Fox has to make money on the property, and they may at the very least think there is something out there with more potential in the 9:00 p.m. Eastern spot.
