‘Timeless’ episode 11 preview: When will Abigail Spencer series return?

Tonight, “Timeless” is airing its fall finale, and with that, an opportunity to finally get answers on Rittenhouse while also getting to understand the character of Garcia Flynn so much more than we have to date.

Now that we’ve gotten through some of that, it’s time to look more towards the future. When is the show coming back with the remainder of its new episodes? According to the Futon Critic, the show will return on January 16, and hopefully over the course of that hour you are going to get a chance to understand even more of what is going on with some of these characters. There are only six more installments still to come before the season is over, and the finale should air by the time we roll around to March. There is no word as of yet regarding a second season, but for now we remain optimistic merely because of the fact that we feel like there’s already a passionate audience behind the show.

As for what lies ahead for Abigail Spencer and the rest of the cast … there are still many mysteries. The promo below really doesn’t give away all too much, given that for the most part, all it really serves to do is remind you to check out past episodes of the show online and catch up. It also does confirm the January 16 return date.

What we do know about the future is that we are getting an episode at one point set at the famed Chicago World’s Fair, and that we will get in the process appearances from famed serial killer H.H. Holmes and Harry Houdini. Maybe that’s where Flynn decided to take Lucy in the waning moments of tonight’s episode, or maybe that’s an episode or two down the road.

Going into the remainder of the season, the biggest question that we have is this: Will there have been a dramatic shift in history due to Flynn killing David Rittenhouse, or will his son have carried on his legacy and things be more or less the same?
