‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 4 spoilers: First news, photo for ‘Columbia’ premiere

Sleepy -

At the end of “Sleepy Hollow” season 3, the show lost one of its most important characters in Abbie Mills, and there was a time when it was hard to imagine how the show would go on without her. Yet, it is, and to a certain extent we do understand the idea to move forward, given that you’re keeping people employed, and if you do think that you’ve got a good story, it makes sense to try that out.

We’re moving to Washington DC for the new batch of episodes, and with that, there will be many new cast members — including “True Blood” alum Janina Gavankar, who you can see alongside Tom Mison above. She is playing presumably the new Witness, but for the January 6 premiere, Ichabod will be spending much of his time trying to find her. Take a look, per SpoilerTV, at some of the official details on the episode now:

“In the Season Four premiere of SLEEPY HOLLOW, Crane and Jenny begin to navigate life following the unexpected death of Abbie Mills. When he finds himself in a the nation’s capital, Crane must forge unlikely partnerships in his quest to find the next Witness, as he discovers that there is more evil at play than he realized was possible.”

For the time being, it does appear as though the right move here is going to be to give the show a chance, since they could have come up with something that is interesting and could make for compelling drama. Ultimately, it is rather hard to know whether or not it’ll actually stay that way when the show airs, but unless you watch, how do you know? Our biggest one is that somehow, the show finds a way to remember that Abbie was an integral part of the show, and that they don’t just forget all about her the moment that they arrive in a new destination with new goals that they are trying to achieve.
