NBC’s ‘Grimm’ season 6: Check out the new teaser promo!

Let’s be honest: It feels weird to be going through the fall without a new episode of “Grimm” coming on the air. This is a show that’s done a lot of tremendous stuff over the years and told some genuinely-freaky stories, but all things must come to an end, right?

In the video below, you can see a first look now at what is being described as the “final chapter” of the show, one that is featuring a trail of bodies, showdowns aplenty, and not a lot of reasons to think that everyone is going to be okay by the end of the series. Has anyone really been okay so far? The main bit of good news that is out there for Nick, for example, is merely that he’s still breathing.

It was earlier this year that NBC first decided to end the show with the upcoming sixth season, and given that the live+same day ratings have never been altogether great, we’re not all that surprised. Yet, at the same exact time we do have to express some gratitude towards the network for keeping it on the air for as long as they have, and giving the writers the authority to create some really unusual, fun, and fascinating stories. There are going to be some twists, some turns, and in the end, probably a few more reasons to have your jaw on the floor.

Perhaps the biggest thing that we are grateful for is merely that the show is getting a chance to end with a proper finale, rather than something that is rushed out just to meet the needs of a network making a last-second decision to end it. Just think back to how many genre series either had to end this way, or didn’t get a proper ending at all.
