‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7, episode 11 preview: Is Chin’s life in jeopardy? George Takei returns

Chin -

Hawaii Five-0” came back this week after a long hiatus, but moving into next week’s episode entitled “Ka’ili aku” (otherwise known as “Snatchback”), we could be seeing a significant rise of danger for one of our main characters: Chin’s niece Sara will be kidnapped. After tonight’s episode featuring the arrival of Danny’s sister on the scene (and a number of serious moments that came along with that), this storyline could easily throw us back into the action.

Over the course of this episode, it also seems as though there could be some other familiar faces to assist Chin on either a physical or emotional level.

Synopsis – “Five-0 races to Mexico where Chin puts his life on the line after his niece Sara (Londyn Silzer) is kidnapped, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Dec. 16 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Duane “Dog” Chapman returns as himself and George Takei returns as Chin’s Uncle Choi.”

There is a part of us that is excited to see this episode just because of the return of Takei, given that we’d watch almost anything that he’s in. The same goes for any showcase for Daniel Dae Kim, whose great work in standalone stories goes all the way back to his days on “Lost.” Basically, this is the sort of episode that should rally everyone in the Five-0 together given that they are going to do what they can in order to help out Chin; he’s not only their co-worker, but he’s also a friend.

As for whether or not Chin makes it out alive, did you really think that we’d tell you that here? While we want to be hopeful, you’ll have to wait for the episode to air in order to find out. What we are really hoping for is for Chin and Sara to be reunited and living together once more. This is a side of Chin that made us smile from ear to ear every week we saw her making her pancakes or braiding her hair.

Promo – While this may not give you much in the way of insight, it does serve as a nice little accent to everything that we’ve said in this article already.
