‘Bull’ episode 9 preview: Michael Weatherly’s Bull heads home
Next week could be the last episode of “Bull” season 1 for the calendar year, and with that, some early indications are that this one could be one worth watching, recording, and possibly doing both depending on how much you want to get some more backstory into Michael Weatherly’s title character.
“Light My Fire” is the title for the next new episode, and based on some of the information that we’ve got for this installment now, indications are that at the forefront of this episode is going to be a variety of different issues when it comes to Bull’s past impacting his present.
Synopsis – “Bull confronts his past when he returns to his childhood home to assist in the arson defense of a young man whose contentious ties to the town mirror Bull’s own.”
It’s a little hard at the moment to know what the right interpretation of this episode is supposed to be at the moment — if there is some sort of proper interpretation for it at the moment. Our takeaway looking at the idea of this episode in advance is that this could be in the “what could have been” vein. Maybe this young man represents in some way what could have happened with Bull in the event that things went differently in his past.
We’ll see if this episode actually mirrors in its own way what we’re talking about; either way, we imagine that this is going to be a powerful episode of the show. After this one airs, odds are that there is not going to be another installment coming on the air until January.
