‘Criminal Minds’ season 12, episode 8 video: The central crime of ‘Scarecrow’
The final episode of “Criminal Minds” season 12 will be coming on the air tomorrow night, and judging from the latest sneak peek below, we’re going to be seeing a very creepy hour of television in “Scarecrow.” Based on the sneak peek below, we’ve also got a fairly clear indication right now as to precisely what the UnSub for the hour is up to.
The team, led now by Emily Prentiss, is going to be responsible for heading out to Yakima, Washington in order to try and investigate a series of dead bodies who are found in a creek bed. Based on most preliminary research, one of the things that many of these said bodies have in common is that many of them are prostitutes. Therefore, the team can already get a sense as to who is being targeted — now, they have to figure out why.
This sneak peek also references a “new team member” who is going to be coming along for the ride shortly, and we know that person to be Stephen Walker, played on the show by Damon Gupton. He’s someone who is coming onto the team with experience already when it comes to behavior analysis within the FBI, so we don’t imagine that there is going to be too much of a problem in terms of him trying to fit in and work with the remainder of the team in terms of his skills. Getting to know the as people could be a little bit more of a challenge, especially when you consider for a minute that it’s still taking some members of the team a little bit of time to get use to Luke Alvez being a part of the team.
Following “Scarecrow,” new episodes of the series are going to surface once more in January.
