‘Bull’ episode 8 video: Bull drops the news on Benny

Come later tonight on CBS, there’s another new episode of “Bull” coming on the air, and all indications, at least at the moment, suggest that this could be one of the most entertaining ones of the entire season!

So what does this one have going for it? Well, first and foremost, it does offer up an opportunity to spend a little bit more time getting to know the characters of Jason Bull and Benny Colon better than we have to do. In the sneak peek below, you can specifically see Michael Weatherly’s character at the bar with his associate, knowing that he is going to be dropping some rather enormous news on him regarding their next client: It’s Isabella Colon a.k.a. Benny’s sister and Bull’s own ex-wife.

At first, Benny’s understandably none too thrilled to hear the news, and why would he be? This is someone he hasn’t had a solid relationship to in a rather long period of time, largely because of drama that stemmed from him not taking a job with her and continuing to work with her ex. Now, she’s facing a massive wrongful-death lawsuit, and her lawyer contacted Bull for some of his expertise. Of course, they have to help out given that there is so much history here. Yet, at the same exact time we imagine that there will be some awkwardness and some conflict that comes up because of the shared past.

Ultimately, we’re glad that we’re getting to this story now, mostly because Isabella (who Bull refers to as Izzy in the sneak peek) is the sort of person who the show needed to have as an onscreen presence given that she’s tied to two of the show’s main characters, and it allows us to know so much better who they are and how they got to this point in their lives.
