‘Scream Queens’ season 2 finale boasts interesting episode title

Scream Queens -The second season of “Scream Queens” is certainly one full of interesting twists, given the fact that we’ve learned about the Green Meanie, seen varying degrees of Lea Michele’s Hester, and ultimately witnessed more gross hospital scenes than we can count. Without it being gross, would it really be “Scream Queens”? We do think that this is a question worthy of asking at the moment.

The home stretch of the season is right about here, and by the time you make it to the December 20 finale entitled “Drain the Swamp,” tensions should be through the roof. The title for the episode itself is absolutely crazy, given that it’s a clear and super-obvious reference to one President-Elect Donald Trump and many of the promises he made during his campaign. As for how this relates to the overall episode, that remains to be seen — but the synopsis below (courtesy of SpoilerTV) does offer up a little bit more in the way of insight:

“The Green Meanie sets its final plan for revenge in motion as Hester makes a bold move to secure her future, and Brock performs a dangerous surgery to save Dean Munsch’s life.”

Munsch is in danger. That should be enough to strike fear in the hearts of many. You never want to see a beloved character facing any sort of significant jeopardy, but if she wasn’t, “Scream Queens” probably wouldn’t be “Scream Queens.” A big part of what makes it such an intense entry in Fox’s lineup is the presence of almost-constant death for main characters, and the shocking twist and turns that have defined it to such an enormous extent over the course of the series’ run. It’s hard to say that it would be a surprise if the villain at the end of the season turned out to be someone who died a few episodes into season 1. (Yes, this was a facetious statement — don’t throw too many crazy theories out there.)
