‘Big Brother OTT’ spoilers: Stumbling off the high horse

Kryssie -We’re at the final four of “Big Brother: Over the Top,” and you would assume as a result of this that we would have a fairly-peaceful existence with everyone feeling relatively happy that they’ve made it this far and it’s all up to competitions wins at this point.

Is this happening? NOPE. This is turning out to be one of the most dramatic days of the season. Sure, we do sometimes have some sulking and bitterness from someone who thinks they are going home from the game at this point, but we’re seeing a combination of that and horrible entitlement from some of the remaining players.

One thing we cannot understand is why people like Jason and Kryssie fail to realize that it’s okay if Justin pouts and is not enjoying being around them. How does this impact their endgame? Jason’s said a number of things that we don’t agree with this season, but we’ll concede that he’s got a point in saying that he’s helped Justin get far in this game. Yet, Justin doesn’t really owe him anything for that. It’s a game! Who says he has to be grateful? We just don’t understand the complaining over Thanksgiving (where Justin didn’t do much of anything) when he spent all season cooking for people.

While we understand Jason’s frustrations somewhat, Kryssie’s claims that she helped to carry Justin all season are utterly ridiculous — also, it feels like she’s rewriting history about him doing nothing for her. He used a Veto on her! What more does she want? Kryssie may be a great person outside of the game, but she’s spent a lot of time this season trotting along on the highest of high-horses. That plus her lack of game awareness are two of the reasons we find it so frustrating that she’s made it so far, and we would’ve rather seen a worthy winner get there without having this sort of an obvious endgame goat around.

We’ve also heard both Jason and Kryssie say that Morgan was super-protected most of the season today and didn’t have to worry much, and we won’t argue that much about that; yet, we do think she did more than they give her credit for in terms of trying to build relationships and winning some competitions here and there.

Ultimately, the biggest thing to remember, even if you are frustrated by Justin lashing out here and there, is that this is a guy who we think really wanted to win this game a lot more than he let on at times, and he’s realizing that his odds are extremely low at this point. He’s seen people talk smack about him the past day or two, and he feels like he’s alone in there and has went through a lot in his life. He’s also not familiar with the game and doesn’t really know how to process his emotions.

We said a couple of days ago that all of us on the outside need to just take a deep breath and realize that it’s only a game — even if there is a hefty cash prize at the end, life will go on. Justin sulking isn’t getting him anywhere, but neither is Jason or Kryssie talking bad about him.
